Activities Coordinator

Valley Pines offers: • The opportunity to work with a great team of professionals to ensure our residents’ needs are met in a quality and safe environment. Purpose: Responsible to coordinate and implement the activities program to meets the interests of the residents of the facility, while working with other members of the inter-departmental team to ensure all resident needs are met. Qualified individuals must have the ability, with or without reasonable accommodation, to perform the following duties: • Creates the monthly activities calendar and implements daily activities with assistance and input from residents; distributes calendars to all residents, including those who are newly admitted. • Make appropriate announcements to residents to ensure they are aware of activities; encourages maximum resident participation in activities • Works a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the activities department. Completes competency evaluations for training as required by the state or as assigned by their immediate supervisor, HR Director, or Executive Director.
