ADMISSIONS/EVENT COORDINATOR

DiGrigoli School West Springfield, Massachusetts

The Admissions/Event Coordinator (AC) is responsible for all phases of the admissions process, from marketing the program to qualifying students for enrollment at the school. The AC must be able to work under limited supervision and must be able to perform essential duties for the position, including: recruiting prospective students for enrollment in the cosmetology program offered by the school... tracking and following up with all leads; scheduling interview appointments/tours for prospective students; and assisting applicants throughout the enrollment and registration process. Maintain full knowledge of the school's mission, history, curriculum, courses, and academic policies so as to be able to fully explain the programs offered to prospective students and to ensure that the program meets each student's needs and aspirations. Additional projects and/or tasks may be assigned by the Program Coordinator or School Owner and must be completed within a timely manner. Responsibilities include conducting tours, responding to and following up with leads, ensuring completion of admissions requirements by student applicants, representing the school at local college/career fairs, researching marketing opportunities, ordering student kit supplies and maintaining inventory, and working on special projects assigned by the school owner.
