Assistant Director of Events

Reporting to the Director of Recruitment Events and Campus Visitations, the Assistant Director of Events position is responsible for coordinating Undergraduate & Graduate Admissions events, working collaboratively with the Director of Recruitment Events to support recruitment goals. This position will work with our Charger Ambassadors student tour guide program, assist with event related enrollment communication activity, and will work with group and daily visits. • Ensure an unparalleled customer service experience to all prospective students and families during all on-campus, virtual, and special road events (such as Open House, Accepted Student Day, Accepted Student Receptions) and promote the University in a positive manner to all prospective students and families, alumni, colleagues, and community. • Work with the Office of Marketing and Communications to create and implement targeted event invites and publications as needed. • Ability to represent the University of New Haven in a variety of situations and be able to competently interact with a diverse population of prospective students, faculty, and staff.
