Assistant Event Coordinator

Job Title: Assistant Event Coordinator Duties: • Assist in the planning and execution of events, ensuring all logistical details are handled smoothly and efficiently • Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to secure necessary equipment, decorations, and services • Help develop event timelines, floor plans, and run sheets • Coordinate event staffing, including hiring and managing a team of event assistants • Assist with event setup, teardown, and overall event production • Provide exceptional customer service to clients and attendees, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise • Maintain and update event databases and documentation to ensure accuracy and organization Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in event management, hospitality, or a related field • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively • Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required • Knowledge of current industry trends and best practices in event management Benefits: • Dental insurance • Flexible schedule • Health insurance • Paid time off Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Monday to Friday
