The Iowa Taproom is looking for a hard-working and friendly person to join our team as part-time Assistant Event Coordinator. This position will help schedule, facilitate and execute consistent coordination of events at the Iowa Taproom in our three event spaces. The Assistant Event Coordinator will support the Lead Event Manager with logistical tasks, administrative duties, and event organization. Responsibilities: • Work in tandem with the Lead Event Manager to schedule, facilitate and execute consistent coordination of events • Cultivate a strong events team and program • Utilize booking system to organize, gather, and communicate all event needs with the rest of the management and event team • Manage and reply to all inquiries • Help facilitate setup and tear down of various events, along with support staff • Come up with new ideas and suggestions to enhance the event’s success and the success of the event program overall • Assist in publicizing the event program utilizing social media, advertisement, marketing and maintaining a digital presence • Supervise all staff to ensure event implementation (set up staff, event staff, event leads, vendors, etc.) $20 - $25 per hour
