Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented, personable, and proactive Event Assistant to support the planning and execution of social and corporate events at the club. This role plays a key part in delivering seamless event execution, with a strong focus on coordinating food and beverage. Key Responsibilities: • Assist the Events & Programming Manager with pre-event planning and post-event follow-up • Support the on-site coordination and execution of events, including vendor check-ins, setup, and guest management • Oversee and ensure accurate setup of food and beverage displays in coordination with the culinary and bar teams • Maintain clear communication with kitchen and bar staff to ensure proper timing, service flow, and special requests • Greet and direct members, guests, and vendors with warmth and professionalism • Monitor event timelines and help manage transitions between event phases (e.g., passed hors d’oeuvres to seated dinner) • Uphold club service standards and ensure all event spaces are properly styled and ready for use • Maintain event supplies and assist with post-event cleanup and organization What We’re Looking For: • A fast learner who can quickly adapt to new systems and environments • Hard-working, dependable, and proactive in a fast-paced setting • Creative and resourceful, with an eye for event details.
