The Wichita Art Museum’s Assistant Event Coordinator supports the planning and coordination functions for WAM special events and private facility events. This position works closely with the Event Coordinator and Director of Development to manage facility use for rental income to achieve annual earned revenue expectations. The position entails working closely with museum staff, patrons, vendors, volunteers, and facility-use clients. • Support Event Coordinator and Director of Development with event operational needs • Assist with oversight of event staff to efficiently run events, rentals, and programs. Education/Certification: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
