The Cheney Place is an urban boutique event space located in downtown Grand Rapids. We are hiring a small team of friendly and motivated people to assist with events (primarily weddings) this spring and beyond for those who work well with our team and provide a great experience for the guests. Hiring priority will be given to candidates who are able to work two shifts per weekend (shifts range from 6-10 hours between 9:00 am and 1:00am). Duties include but not limited to: • Assist Event Manager with all aspects of the event including setup/teardown, layout of decor, working with vendors, assisting guests throughout the day and assisting with the many aspects of the wedding/event including ceremony, cocktail hour, entrances and exits, etc. Work Remotely • No
