The Cheney Place is an urban boutique event space located in downtown Grand Rapids. We are hiring a small team of friendly and motivated people to assist with events (primarily weddings) this fall and beyond for those who work well with our team and provide a great experience for the guests. Hiring priority will be given to candidates who are able to work two shifts per weekend (shifts range from 6-10 hours between 9:00 am and 1:00am). Pay will vary based on experienced, ability to work multiple shifts on the weekend, and flexibility to assist with other needs in our family of businesses including Fringe Events (rental/design), PUNCH (bar catering) and other venues in West Michigan.
