The Cheney Place is an urban boutique event space located in downtown Grand Rapids. We are hiring a small team of friendly and motivated people to assist with events (primarily weddings) this Summer and beyond for those who work well with our team and provide a great experience for the guests. Hiring priority will be given to candidates who are able to work two shifts per weekend (shifts range from 6-10 hours between 9:00 am and 1:00am). • Assist bar with bussing glassware • Assist in making sure guests are not being over served or drinking alcohol outside • Connect with vendors throughout the day and offer assistance • Assist with photo booth as needed • Team attitude - willingness to help, professional attitude towards coworkers, clients and guests Expected hours: 4 – 25 per week
