Client Oversight Responsibilities • Headquarters Management • Board of Directors • Membership Services • Committee Support • Member Meeting Management • Conference / Event Management • Relations with Global/National affiliations for chapters • Marketing and Social Media Required Qualifications • Association, event management and/or project management experience • Leadership and staff management experience • Self-starter and team player • Outgoing personality • Continuous improvement mindset, creative • Excellent written and verbal communications • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills • Have excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects at one time • Pride in excellence • Possess the discipline to successfully work without close supervision • Technologically savvy and proficient in Microsoft Office applications, with strengths in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) • Customer service experience, business acumen and a positive attitude is a must • Ability to lift 35lbs • Must be willing to attend offsite meetings and evening meetings on occasion • Occasional local and overnight travel • Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation • Must be willing to work occasional weekends (1-3 times per year) Set up events in the online registration system(s), process registrations and payments, print name badges and other materials, register speakers, sponsors, and exhibitors, provide registration reports, oversee meeting planning activities such as speaker coordination and communications, create pre- and post-meeting reports and surveys, and assist with electronic promotions, website management, social media promotions, social event organization, and venue coordination. • Be a TEAM player assist other TEAM members as time allows and as requested.
