Girls Write Nashville in Nashville, TN is looking for one event planner to help plan our annual benefit concert. Responsibilities... • Coordinate with Planning Committee member to assist with booking artists and submitting artist contracts *Production / stage & tech management *Work with venue to set up ticketing options *Working with our partners (Lightning 100 & 3rd and Lindsley) to coordinate details and ensure event success *Oversee social marketing *Organize event volunteers *Order merch and coordinate with designer *Secure day of event supplies - programs, table cards etc *Creating backdrop image *Scheduling photographer *Work with Planning Committee and Executive Director to drive Fundraising *Securing and coordinating corporate sponsorships *Setting up fundraiser table at the event Compensation is $25.00/hour. We are an artist- and educator-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit creative youth development program in Nashville, TN allied with community schools to create safe and trauma-informed creative communities and opportunities for cultural participation for youth.
