The Blood Connection is a vital nonprofit organization dedicated to saving lives by ensuring a steady and reliable supply of blood to hospitals and patients in need across the communities it serves. Recognized as a leader in the blood banking industry, The Blood Connection plays a crucial role in the healthcare system by facilitating blood donation drives, managing donor resources, and supporting life-saving treatments through the collection and distribution of blood products. The organization is deeply rooted in community outreach and education, hosting health fairs and marketing events, and prioritizing customer service to donors and sponsor groups alike.
The Account Manager role within The Blood Connection's Donor Resources Department is a cornerstone position aimed at driving the success of blood collection efforts within a designated territory. This full-time role offers competitive benefits, including 30 days of paid time off with flexible options to use, cash out, or roll over the time, potential company bonuses, tuition reimbursement, and comprehensive health insurance coverage including medical, vision, and dental plans. Additional benefits such as healthcare and dependent care flexible spending accounts, short and long-term disability insurance, employee assistance programs, life insurance, and a 401k retirement plan further enhance the employment package.
As an Account Manager, the individual will be responsible for overseeing the performance and growth of existing blood drive accounts while actively seeking new sponsor groups to maximize blood donations in their territory.
