We are seeking a talented and experienced Event Services Director to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, organization, and execution of various events on campus, including concerts, plays, conferences, and commencement ceremonies. Key Responsibilities • Develop and implement strategies to improve event attendance and engagement • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and resource sharing • Manage event-related logistics, including venue selection, catering, and audiovisual equipment rental • Supervise personnel, including event coordinators and technicians • Ensure compliance with college policies and procedures Requirements • Bachelor's degree in business administration, performing arts administration, or a related field • Five years' full-time progressive work experience in operational/technical/logistics planning for events or performing arts, with at least two years' experience in a management or supervisory role • Leadership and management skills in a live event and/or theatrical setting • Strong communication and interpersonal skills At Pellissippi State Community College, we value collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
