Catering and Events Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Catering & Events Manager to oversee our event sales and planning with precision, creativity, and professionalism. The Catering & Events Manager is responsible for managing all private event sales and planning, from initial inquiry through pre-event coordination. Core Responsibilities • Serve as the primary contact for all private and member events, managing initial inquiries and conducting on-site tours • Build detailed proposals and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) tailored to client and member needs • Collaborate with the Executive Chef on custom menus and seasonal offerings • Coordinate pre-event logistics: timelines, layouts, rentals, signage, room setups, and staff needs • Maintain and manage the event calendar, ensuring clear internal communication with all departments • Track event performance, billing, and generate reports as needed • Contribute ideas and support for club-hosted event programming throughout the year Qualifications • 5+ years of experience in catering, private events, or hospitality sales (club, hotel, or upscale venue experience strongly preferred) • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills • Professional and approachable demeanor with excellent written and verbal communication • Strong understanding of event planning, client service, and hospitality standards • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with POS and event management software a plus • Availability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed to support key events The selected candidate will work closely with our current manager through the end of the year to ensure a smooth and thoughtful transition, with the role becoming fully independent in January 2026.
