Catering and Sales Events Coordinator

This key team member will be responsible for reviewing, managing, coordinating, and executing all groups, events, and banquets related functions, as assigned by the Director of Sales, Sales Manager, and Catering Manager, facilitating communication between the client and the hotel throughout the pre-planning and execution phases. Attend all applicable hotel meetings: department, staff, food and beverage, sales, BEO, and Group Resume • Lead and facilitate daily/weekly distribution of event / sales reports • Advise sales staff as to ability to accommodate client demands including phone requirements, fit of available space and materials such as booths. Assist sales staff in promoting hotel, developing leads and securing re-bookings • Create event diagrams for clients • Collect and input final counts for events, manage billing and logistical process, update event management information into CRM system, award loyalty points • Coordinate catering and conference service activities and client specifications to deliver smooth execution of meetings and events. • Receive convention files from Sales and Catering Department and review them for accuracy and thoroughness • Maintain sales and catering files and maintain detailed notes in sales system on all correspondence with clients.
