The Catering and Special Events Manager is responsible to manage employee, resident, guest and vendor relations and has responsibility for event planning for clients; including understanding their needs for the events and offering additional services and products for purchase. The Catering and Special Events Manager is responsible for the appearance/set-up and functionality of the venue before and during the event, and while the primary function of the Catering and Special Events Manager is to coordinate, plan and manage events, they are also expected to assist the service staff on the floor during an event if necessary. • Manage the Catering and Special Events Department’s Wine and Spirits program with the Dining Services Manager complying with all ABC Laws.
