About the Role The Catering Coordinator will be responsible for booking business for meetings and events, ensuring all details are meticulously captured. This includes preparing and sending contracts to clients, writing and distributing Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and Schedule of Events (SOEs), coordinating audio-visual requirements and convention details, and responding promptly to general inquiries via telephone and mail with a clear and pleasant demeanor. The successful candidate will also manage a high volume of incoming calls with professionalism and efficiency, handle administrative tasks including typing correspondence, opening and distributing mail, photocopying, and sending faxes, and assist with special projects as needed to support the catering team.
