The Local is a dynamic and vibrant sports bar and restaurant strategically located next to the Lenovo Center and Carter-Finley Stadium. In this role, the Catering Event Coordinator will be responsible for generating new catering business through proactive outreach, networking, and building partnerships. Emphasis will be on creating a consistent brand voice and ensuring all digital content is mobile-optimized and visually appealing. This role requires exceptional communication, organization, and time-management skills, with the ability to adapt and excel in a fast-paced environment. • 2+ years of experience in catering, hospitality sales, or event management • exceptional communication, organization, and time management skills • strong attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction • ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed • familiarity with POS systems, event planning software, and basic budgeting and spreadsheet tools • must pass criminal background check
