Events are booked in advance and the event manager will have lots of lead time before committing to the event. Seeking a qualified event manager to ensure successful full service catered events including weddings and other special events. Main responsibilities include preparing for upcoming events in advance (reviewing event checklists, packing equipment prior to events, etc), delegating tasks... following event timelines, and directing Umekes staff throughout the event. Also responsible for managing food quality, assembling food on site (plating of cold food items, etc), and breakdown/clean up after the event, including maintenance of catering equipment. Essential Functions: • On-site event set up of food stations and buffets; decorations • Food displays should be aesthetically pleasing!
