We're looking for a highly organized, calm-under pressure Catering Event Manager to lead events from setup through breakdown and ensure every detail runs smoothly.The Catering Event Manager is responsible for executing events on-site, managing staff and vendors, overseeing food service, and serving as the main point of contact during events. This role requires strong leadership, excellent communication skills, and hands-on experience in catering or hospitality operations.ResponsibilitiesServe as the on-site lead for catered events, including weddings, corporate functions and private eventsExecute event timelines and floor plans accurately and efficientlyManage catering staff including servers, bartenders, porters, and culinary teamsCoordinate with vendors such as rental companies, venues, planners, and bar servicesOversee food service, station setups, buffet service, plated meals, and breakdownEnsure food quality, presentation, and service standards are consistently metHandle guest and client needs professionally and discreetlyEnforce health, safety, and sanitation standardsTroubleshoot issues calmly and efficiently in real timeComplete post-event wrap-up, inventory checks, and reports as neededExperienceProven experience in event management or hospitality roles such as banquet coordination roles such as banquet coordination, restaurant management, hotel operations, or fundraising eventsExceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction and hospitality excellenceAbility to work long shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays as requiredProfessional demeanor with clients, guests, and vendorsValid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
