Key Responsibilities Consult with clients to understand their event needs, preferences, and budget. Develop customized catering proposals, including menu selection, beverage packages, and service styles. Coordinate all logistical aspects of catered events, including vendor selection, scheduling, and on-site management. Liaise with culinary teams and venue staff to ensure smooth event execution. Manage event timelines, ensuring all tasks are completed on schedule. Oversee event setup and breakdown, ensuring presentation standards are met. Handle client inquiries and provide exceptional customer service throughout the planning process. Manage catering budgets and process payments accurately. Stay updated on industry trends, menu innovations, and event design. Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations. Requirements A minimum of 2 years of experience in event planning, catering coordination, or a related hospitality role. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple events simultaneously with meticulous attention to detail. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with event management software is a plus. A creative mindset with a flair for event design and menu planning. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
