THE TEAMOur Catering team plays an essential role in creating exceptional experiences for wedding, social, and corporate clients at Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek. Working closely with Catering, Sales, Banquets, Culinary, and Hotel Operations, the Catering Event Specialist serves as a key partner in ensuring every event is executed flawlessly from confirmation through completion. Reporting to the Director of Catering, this role collaborates with event managers and operational teams to deliver personalized service that reflects the luxury standards of the property.

YOUR ROLEAs a Catering Event Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing the details of confirmed social, wedding, and corporate events. You will act as the primary liaison for assigned clients, ensuring their vision is translated into seamless event execution while maintaining strong communication across departments. Through exceptional organization, attention to detail, and a passion for guest service, you will contribute directly to creating memorable experiences and strengthening the property's reputation for excellence.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE

Serve as the primary coordination contact for assigned wedding, social, and corporate events.Guide clients and event planners through menu selections, event logistics, and planning milestones.Create, edit, and distribute banquet event orders, event diagrams, and detailed timelines.Lead event turnovers and communication with Banquets, Culinary, and operational teams to ensure seamless execution.Coordinate site visits, menu tastings, and other event-related appointments.Manage event deposits, billing processes, and accurate documentation within Sales Force and Opera systems.Maintain thorough and timely communication with clients and internal stakeholders throughout the event lifecycle.Foster strong partnerships across all hotel departments to deliver exceptional guest and client experiences.

COULD THIS BE YOU?You bring experience in hospitality, events, restaurant operations, administration, or a related service-focused environment.You have exceptional communication skills and can build strong relationships with clients, planners, vendors, and colleagues.You are highly organized and excel at managing multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.You approach your work with attention to detail, accuracy, and a commitment to excellence.You remain calm under pressure, solve problems thoughtfully, and exercise sound judgment.You are proficient with Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel.You enjoy collaborating across departments and thrive in a team-oriented environment.You are committed to maintaining the confidentiality of guest, client, and business information.
