Catering Sales and Event Manager

Driftwood Catering is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Event Sales Manager to lead the full lifecycle of event execution — from initial client consultation through final event delivery. This role is responsible for driving revenue growth, maintaining exceptional client relationships, and ensuring every event is executed at the highest operational and service standards. Deliver exceptional client service through prompt communication and proactive follow-up.Build and maintain long-term professional relationships with clients and assigned accounts.Guide clients through contracts, deposits, floor plan approvals, and all required deadlines.Provide ongoing reminders and progress updates to ensure seamless execution.Sales & Revenue Growth Manage and grow assigned accounts to increase sales volume and profitability.Identify and capitalize on upselling opportunities across floral, bakery, AV, and additional service departments.Support the sales team by reviewing proposals and contracts for accuracy and profitability.Collaborate with culinary leadership to achieve food and beverage revenue goals while maintaining quality standards.Event Planning & Execution Minimum age: 21 years3+ years of experience in catering, hospitality, or management (preferred)Associate degree preferred; High School Diploma or GED requiredStrong knowledge of food and beverage operations and hospitality standardsExcellent mathematical and organizational skillsProficiency in:Word processing softwareSpreadsheetsInventory systemsOrder processing systemsDatabase management toolsPhysical Requirements
