About this job: In this role, you will develop new business, plan every aspect of your clients’ events and ensure overall customer happiness. Job Overview: Sell event space & catering, execute Clients’ events according to their wishes, keep current Clients happy, develop and maintain client base, upsell customers on amenities, some secretarial and office duties involved, assist with errands, maintain inventories, schedule staffing and creative in developing marketing materials. Required Skills: • You have an positive, can-do attitude & a natural self-starter • Comfortable hosting sales presentations and exceeding sales goals • You are a people person, excited to meet new people and build relationships • You have customer service skills that rival the The Ritz Carlton, Nordstrom and Corbett’s combined • You are not only comfortable but excited in a sales environment which includes answering sales inquiries with excitement – and have the ability to turn those leads to long-term customers • You are technologically savvy and a social media guru • You have strong multiple project management skills • Organized with extreme attention to detail • You are calm and collected under pressure • Have a creative eye and can develope exciting food displays • Keep up with catering industry trends and standards • Flexible hours and availability to work nights and weekends • Ability to manage a catering serving staff ranging from 10-40 employees
