Picture yourself brightening someone’s day. When you join our Hotels team, that’s exactly what you’ll do every time you come to work! As a **Catering Sales Manager**, you’re not just overseeing the planning and execution of catered events – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
* **Grow catering market segments:** Solicit new client relationships, develop proposals, and negotiate contracts to close new business
* **Cultivate client relationships:** Maintain strong connections with existing corporate and social accounts to secure repeat business
* **Create exceptional experiences:** Design creative menus and catered events that maximize revenue and elevate the guest experience
* **Oversee event coordination:** Manage event documentation, facilitate seamless transitions throughout the pre-event, event, and post-event phases of events, and serve as the primary client contact to ensure smooth execution, proactive issue resolution, and an exceptional event experience
* **Guide team performance:** Communicate client requirements, provide direction, and offer feedback and coaching to ensure consistent, high-level service
