Communications and Special Events Coordinator Projects will largely focus on written content development for press releases, marketing materials, website copy, and social media posts. • Plan and support special events, including venue selection, cost effectiveness, and arrangement of event services • Plan, design and create promotional materials for projects and events that promote De La Salle • Support the Office of Advancement through communications expertise • Manage other communications-related duties as requested Office of Advancement: • In conjunction with the President and the President’s advancement team, • Create and implement promotional materials in support of giving campaigns and special events • Advance the mission of De La Salle through donor outreach and communications • Create direct mail campaigns and digital strategies utilizing email, social media, and phone calls to collect or increase donations • Promote and communicate alumni events, alumni receptions, and networking events through all available channels • Collaborate to ensure brand attributes and messaging are incorporated in annual giving marketing materials including direct mail, social media outreach, fall and spring appeals, and personal solicitations • Provide content and oversight for the Alumni Newsletter as required Preferred: • Professional work experience in marketing, public relations, communications, and brand management • Experience in an academic setting
