Reporting to and working in partnership with the Faculty Directors and the Senior Program Manager will be the Communications and Events Coordinator (Communications Coordinator). The Communications Coordinator will lead all communication efforts and events planning, including developing and maintaining the Neuro JAM website and newsletter; developing print and electronic materials; developing and executing the social media strategy; preparing design of reports, solicitation letters, mailings, blog posts, and flyers; and managing and executing events. Event Planning and Execution: • Establish and maintain relationships with community partners, vendors and venues • Plan event details, including registration forms, attendance tracking • Oversee the planning and execution of both in-person and virtual events, including the summer program and symposia • Coordinate social events within the project and with the community Additional Qualifications and Skills • Creativity in developing and designing communications materials • Excellence in organizational management with the ability to build relationships and develop high-performing teams and set and achieve strategic objectives • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders and cultures • Demonstrated experience working within and across teams • Entrepreneurial with an enthusiasm for doing whatever it takes to get the job done • An ability to drive to big-picture goals while maintaining strong attention to detail • Demonstrated attention to detail, good judgment, discretion, and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information required.
