The Communications & Events Specialist plays a dynamic role in shaping Horning’s internal communications, employee engagement initiatives, and company events. • Maintain and update content across internal platforms (e.g., company website, intranet, SharePoint, Teams). Minimum Qualifications and Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field • 3-5 years of experience in communications, event planning, or administrative support roles • Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail • Proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, collaborative environment • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Familiarity with design and communications tools such as Canva and Microsoft Forms • Friendly, proactive, and resourceful approach to work. Preferred Qualifications and Requirements: • Experience supporting senior leaders or working in internal communications or HR. • Ability to create visual content and presentations using branded templates.
