Community Arts, Relations, and Events Coordinator

Incumbent is responsible for the execution and management of community-initiated or special events through the public event permit program and will act as staff lead and liaison for the Redmond Commission for Art in Public Places (RCAPP). Essential Job FunctionsESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Community Events The position will oversee the planning, implementation, and promotion of events and festivals in Redmond as needed to further a wide variety of City work programs including, but not limited to, public art, community development, urban renewal, tourism, etc. Public Art Program The position serves as the staff liaison for the Redmond Commission for Art in Public Places (RCAPP) and Redmond's Public Art Program. The incumbent is responsible for managing all related projects and programs to enrich art in the community, including the management of all associated projects. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS/LICENSES: The position could be required to operate a vehicle in the course of their position.
