Community Engagement / Activities Coordinator- Part-time

The Community Engagement Coordinator serves as the volunteer recruiter and internal events planner with the main focus of fostering a sense of community. Perform committee liaison responsibilities As liaison to the Community Activities Committee • Work with the committee to meet their objectives of fostering a sense of community by planning and conducting various activities throughout the year • Manage the budget of the committee, keeping leaders regularly apprised of the status of the committee’s budget and ways to maximize the available funds • Supervise volunteers and paid instructors while hosting activities • Market events to the community Perform miscellaneous projects and completes various tasks as needed by management or team members 2\. • Excellent interpersonal communication skills and relationship building skills to effectively work with a variety of people and personalities, including developing relationships with Board members, volunteers, and staff. • Detail-oriented and able to meet deadlines.
