The Community Engagement & Events Coordinator plays a key role in expanding the reach and impact of Girls on the Run by developing partnerships and engaging with volunteers and community organizations. This role is responsible for planning, organizing, and executing Girls on the Run events, including 5K races, fundraisers, volunteer appreciation events, and community outreach initiatives. This role ensures that all events run smoothly, align with GOTR’s mission, and engage participants, volunteers, sponsors, and community partners, focusing on increasing awareness and building relationships. Volunteer Recruitment & Coordination • Recruit, train, and manage event volunteers, including race-day support teams. • Experience in community outreach, program coordination, or nonprofit work.
