Community Engagement Specialist

This is a unique role that combines community engagement with event planning and coordination. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for building and strengthening relationships within the community, as well as experience in planning and executing events that promote social engagement, wellness, health, enrichment, and stability. The Community Engagement Coordinator will work closely with the management team and supervisor to plan and host several events each month. These events will aim to bring residents together, foster a sense of belonging, and provide opportunities for personal growth and development. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement community engagement strategies • Plan and coordinate events, including logistics and administration • Collaborate with corporate, government, and non-profit partners to deliver quality programs • Meet with residents to understand their needs and preferences • Prepare and distribute communication to residents Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree or related experience in event planning, social impact, or human services • Experience serving at-risk populations preferred • Excellent listening and communication skills • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Strong organizational and time management skills
