Complex Event Manager

Complex Event Manager is responsible for coordinating and supervising assigned group business after it is booked by the sales & catering department, and through completion of the event or function, while maintaining profitable operations and high-quality products and service levels. • Manage existing accounts and follow up with client resolicitation to capture future business. Education & Experience: • At least 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or as a meeting planner • Must be proficient in Windows, Company approved spreadsheets and word processing • Must have knowledge of F&B preparation techniques, health department rules and regulations, liquor laws and regulations. • Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by guests • Must be able to multitask and prioritize departmental functions to meet deadlines. coverage as required.
