Manage Events at UM-Flint • Computerized scheduling of events, pre-event planning, pricing, on-site event management, setup/takedown • Prepare rental agreements • Collect, process and track payments for external events • Prepare event diagrams for clients and event staff • Effectively communicate and enforce university policies • Inspect building facilities and equipment, process work orders and follow up • Provide problem resolution and customer service with facility users • Coordinate services with other departments and vendors, including Safety, Facilities, IT, NBC Administration and others • Complete accurate and thorough facilities reports • Serve on a variety of campus and community committees as needed • On-site event management required on some evenings and weekends • Supervise bar service events • Make recommendations on policies and pricing • Functionally supervise Event Staff, Evening Supervisor, Office Assistant, Bartender positions.
