Responsibilities: • Event Detailing: Translates client needs into detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and group resumes. • Logistics & Coordination: Oversees meeting space setup, audiovisual (A/V) needs, group room blocks, and food and beverage requirements. • Cross-Departmental Communication: Acts as the central point of contact, keeping all hotel teams informed of itinerary updates and specific group needs. • On-Site Management: Manages event execution, conducts pre-and post-convention meetings with the client, and troubleshoots any issues that arise. • Revenue & Sales: Conducts property site inspections, identifies up-selling opportunities (such as room rental and specialty menus), and helps secure repeat business. Qualifications: • Experience: Typically requires 1-3 years of experience in hospitality, catering sales, or event management. • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or a related field is heavily preferred. • Software Skills: Proficiency with industry-specific property management and event tools like Delphi, as well as Microsoft Office. • Soft Skills: Exceptional negotiation, organization, and multitasking skills.
