Coordinator of Events

Provide coordination (planning and implementation) of Admissions recruitment and yield events (on-campus, off-campus, and virtual), including, but not limited to, daily visits, group tours, preview days, school counselor events, scholarship interview events, and accepted student days Collaborate with University partners in academic and student support departments/colleges regarding Admissions recruitment and yield events Meet established visit/event goals and generate reports and assessments for continual improvement of practices Present daily information sessions and give campus tours to visitors as needed, providing information concerning the University to prospective students and their families Assist with general Admissions support including meeting with walk-in students and families about admission to Georgia Southern University and office coverage Assist with on- and off- campus event coordination and preparation including, but not limited to: booking event space, securing catering and other logistical needs, set-up, day-of implementation, contract completion, and invoice and payment processing For more information or questions about a job posting, please contact the Department of Human Resources by phone at (912) 478-6947 or by email at [email protected].
