Role Description This contract role is for a Corporate Emcee/Event Host based on-site in Philadelphia, PA. The Emcee will host and facilitate corporate volunteering events, welcoming participants, introducing the agenda and speakers, and maintaining high energy and engagement throughout each session. Day-to-day responsibilities include clearly communicating event objectives, guiding participants through activities, managing time and transitions, and ensuring a smooth, professional experience for all attendees. The role also involves coordinating with Goodera’s internal teams and client stakeholders, addressing participant questions, and adjusting delivery style to suit different audiences. The Emcee may provide brief instructions or training related to event activities and is expected to represent Goodera’s brand with professionalism, inclusivity, and enthusiasm.
Qualifications
Strong Communication skills, including public speaking, clear articulation, and audience engagement.Customer Service and client-facing experience, with the ability to handle questions, feedback, and diverse participant needs.Training and facilitation skills to guide groups through structured activities and event agendas.Experience in Sales or promotional roles, with comfort in representing a brand and motivating participation.Background in Food & Beverage or hospitality is beneficial for managing event flow, guest experience, and on-site coordination.Prior experience as an emcee, event host, or in live events, corporate workshops, or community programs.Ability to work on-site in Philadelphia,PA, with reliable availability for scheduled events and flexibility in timing.Professional, inclusive demeanor, with sensitivity to diverse cultures and commitment to non-discriminatory practices.Strong organizational skills and reliability, including punctuality and preparedness for every event.
