Job Title: The Coordinator of Events and Programs plays a vital role in supporting the operational functions of an institution. This position involves coordinating spaces and services for various activities, including meetings, lectures, concerts, workshops, conferences, and events. Key Responsibilities: • Serve as primary liaison for matters related to space usage and event support services coordination • Coordinate designated events by conducting risk assessments, securing permits and licenses, ensuring vendor contract compliance, and arranging staffing • Provide direct support to senior staff members, assisting with strategic planning, reporting, communications, and special projects as needed • Manage equipment inventory in coordination with facilities staff • Assist with large events programs, including new student orientation, convocation, fall weekend, honors day, commencement, reunion weekend, etc. • Perform other duties as assigned and based on departmental need
