You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of corporate events and meetings, ensuring they are aligned with the company’s strategic objectives and brand positioning. This position supports both internal and external customers, so the ability to work with a range of personnel in a professional manner is a must. • Partner with leadership teams and the Communications department to determine event objectives to design, plan and execute programming to those objectives. • Lead the management of events onsite – working teams, attendee management, vendor relationships, timelines, logistics and customer experience. Additional Requirements: • Strong negotiation and budget management skills and ability to work with vendors to negotiate contracts and pricing • Ability to interface and consult with executives • Expertise in building and maintaining online registration systems and communicating with attendees through those systems • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks while remaining flexible to changing requirements • Ability to manage multiple meetings, events, and tradeshows at once while maintaining a high degree of organization • Solid relationship building, as well as verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work well under pressure, independently, and meet deadlines • Organizational awareness and knowledge of corporate standards and procedures • Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
