Corporate Events Planner

Responsibilities • Plan, organize, and execute corporate events such as team-building activities, employee celebrations, and executive meetings • Develop event plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring all aspects of the event are executed on time and within financial constraints • Secure and manage venues, catering, entertainment, décor, transportation, and technology requirements for events • Coordinate with vendors and external service providers to ensure smooth operations and high-quality event delivery • Liaise with internal teams, including marketing, communications, and senior leadership, to align events with organizational goals and messaging • Act as the main point of contact for stakeholders and communicate updates throughout the event planning process • Develop and monitor event budgets, negotiating with vendors to ensure cost-effective solutions • Prepare post-event financial reports, analyzing actual expenditures versus planned budgets • Partner with marketing teams to promote events through internal and external communication channels, including email, social media, and newsletters • Create materials such as invitations, signage, and event programs to enhance branding and attendee engagement • Oversee all on-site logistics during events, including managing staff and vendors, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring seamless coordination of activities • Serve as a visible and approachable point of contact for attendees, addressing questions or concerns promptly • Conduct post-event debriefs, gathering feedback from attendees and stakeholders to identify successes and areas for improvement • Prepare comprehensive reports summarizing key outcomes and lessons learned Education/Experience • High School Diploma • 5+ years of experience as a Corporate Events Planner or similar role • Expertise in planning and executing large-scale corporate functions with keen attention to detail • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and manage competing priorities with the ability to adapt to unexpected challenges and solve problems under pressure • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and promote events effectively.
