Position: Event Planner / Executive Assistant Type: Full-Time Location: MacDill Air Force Base, FL Travel: 0% * Contingent upon Contract Award* Position Summary: The Event Planner/Executive Assistant works at the direction of the Chief of Benevolence Duties and Responsibilities: Provide Event Planning (6-8 months) support for both virtual and in-person up to 400 attendees to include: coordinating venues, producing market research analysis, drafting event documents required for approval, drafting correspondence for attendees' registration, coordinate internal IT support, coordinate with Benevolent organizations, set-up Audio/Visual, assist in the execution of the annual Warrior Care Program (WCP) Conference utilizing project management concepts. Produce all required materials for the Benevolent Section, Fill in for the Benevolent Support Coordinator during times of manning shortfalls. Collect, analyze, and report on the metrics of Benevolent activities. Manage wellness events and provide holiday support including making initial contact, internal write up, collecting referrals, following up post event, coordinating legal reviews, and adding data to the SharePoint.
