Purpose The Cultural Event Curator provides leadership for the cultural vision, educational content, community storytelling, performances, cultural food experiences, and overall participant experience for the Juneteenth Celebration. Responsibilities Pre-Event Develop cultural theme and programming.Coordinate performers, storytellers, speakers, and cultural presenters.Assist with development of culturally relevant marketing content.Provide review of promotional materials for cultural accuracy.Coordinate cultural demonstrations, exhibits, and activities.Support planning of culturally significant food experiences.Coordinate with media and outreach efforts by providing cultural content and event messaging.Participate in planning meetings and programming development.Event Day
