Idaho Tents & Events, located in Boise, is seeking an experienced Event Specialist to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities • Obtain new customers through direct marketing and networking • Conduct on-site client meetings to understand and fulfill their event needs • Provide detailed event layouts and descriptions • Assist in planning and executing large-scale community events • Attend training meetings and industry events to stay updated on trends • Meet and exceed monthly sales goals Qualifications • Minimum 1 year of experience in the events industry in a sales capacity • Proven ability to build strong relationships with clients • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proficient computer skills (ability to type at least 45 wpm) • Familiarity with event venues in the Treasure Valley is a plus • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple large projects simultaneously • Creativity and problem-solving skills within the events industry • Outgoing and sociable personality • Availability to work evenings and weekends as required • Valid driver’s license Compensation Schedule Requirements This is currently a part time position with a requirement to work Saturdays from 9am-4pm along with another day or two during the week. It could move into a full time role potentially.
