Assist with planning and execution of weddings and special eventsConfirm logistics the day of the event with couple, vendors, and venuesExecute day-of timelines and troubleshoot in real-timeRepresent Palmetto River Planning with professionalism and graceManage logistics on the wedding day, including setup and breakdown of event space, coordination of vendors, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.Utilize strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, vendors, and venue staff.Confirm logistics the day of the event with couple, vendors, and venuesQualifications Proven experience in event planning, wedding coordination or hospitality is preferred.Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with vendors.Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage working ahead of scheduleExceptional time management skills to meet deadlines and handle last-minute changes effectively.Background in hospitality or guest services is a plus; experience in restaurants or hotels is beneficial.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings as required by event schedules.Must be based in or near the CSRAWilling to travel throughout Georgia and South Carolina, and parts of North Carolinaand TennesseeAble to lift and carry up to 50 lbs (event setup and breakdown)Reliable transportation and valid driver's licenseWedding Planner Certification Course or Degree is preferredJob Type: Part-time Are you available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed?Do you have reliable transportation and the ability to travel to event locations?Are you able and willing to stand/walk for 8-12 hours while working an event?How long have you been interested in an event planning/coordinating position?
