Development and Events Manager

The Development and Events Manager is responsible for helping Mobile Meals of Toledo further... its mission by raising funds that enable us to continue serving our community. This position frequently interacts with the public as a representative of Mobile Meals of Toledo and is responsible for helping to ensure the success of fundraising, donor relations, and community events. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing or a related field is required • Three to five years of professional experience in event planning, fundraising, and donor management • Must be a self-starter/self-motivated, well-organized, detail-oriented and able to work with minimal supervision • A high degree of professionalism and sensitivity to confidential information • Team player with demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers, board members, committee members, and volunteers • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills • Computer proficient; knowledge of Network for Good or other CRM, and Microsoft Office • Demonstrate initiative and accept accountability; effectively manage time and communicate and respond to inquiries in a timely manner • Should be accessible for fundraiser activities before and after regular work hours, including weekends, as needed • Enthusiastic attitude and love for the mission of Mobile Meals of Toledo Experience: • Events management: 3 years (Required) • Customer service: 1 year (Preferred) Ability to Commute: • Toledo, OH 43604 (Preferred)
