Experience with event management and space diagram software. • Event Management: 1) Utilize event management and diagram software to schedule space for events in Coliseum and Gateway Center; 2) Collaborate with departments such as UNT Police, parking, and dining to meet customer needs; 3) Prepare contracts for all events held by off campus groups and student organizations and obtain proper signatures; 4) Assure adequate risk assessment and response for scheduled events; 5) Ensure proper Certificates of Liability Insurance are on file and forward to Risk Management; 6) Perform yearly market surveys on products/pricing. • Customer Relations: 1) Supports and practices the University's and departments commitment to customer service; 2) Develop and support collaborative relationships; 3) Serve as liaison to campus department, community and guests; 4) Meet with event sponsors, as needed, to arrange logistics of events and verify consistency with requests; 5) Provide accurate information to customers; 6) Be courteous and friendly to all visitors and assist with their needs as much as possible 7) Handle customer complaints as they occur.
