This is a full-time, exempt position. The duties and responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to: Develops and executes the internal scheduling and external marketing plan for use of the University Campus for Conferences and Events, including oversite of proposals and contract negotiation, budget and general financial oversite of the department.Provides for scheduling of all campus facility use, production operations, technical support and general administration of the conferences and events sponsored by the University.Develops the master schedule in cooperation with the Office of Student Development and the Master Calendar Committee.Facilitates inter-departmental communication and planning for hallmark university events such as Board of Trustees, Homecoming, and Commencement.Hires, trains, schedules, and supervises student, staff, volunteer, and contract services.Acts as Primary contact for rental clients, external partners, and constituents.Assesses Mission-Fit of prospective rental programs.Provides for Box Office support, ushers, parking, concessions, and general audience services for major university events.Assesses facility condition and equipment inventories; Propose capital equipment acquisitions, facility deferred maintenance and capital improvement projects.
