The Director of Events is responsible for leading the end-to-end execution of all events and conferences while driving event-related revenue, profitability, and guest satisfaction. This role manages a professional team of Event Planners and plays a vital role in aligning the resort’s event planning function with strategic sales goals and service excellence. Event Planning & Execution • To personally handle a small number of premium events and VIP meetings • Support the planning of all group events, including meetings, weddings, social functions, and incentive programs • Lead weekly group review meetings, BEO review sessions, pre-convention meetings, and post-event evaluations • Ensure all planning and logistical details are flawlessly executed, with a focus on proactive communication and operational readiness Operational & Strategic Leadership • Represent the Events team in resort leadership meetings, sales strategy sessions, and business reviews. Experience & Education: • Previous experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel or resort.
