Director of Event Planning

(s) Supervision Received: Resort Manager Job Summary: The Director of Events Planning is responsible for planning all sales & event efforts, for attaining sales and event goals, for managing and marketing the sales and event efforts to maximize profitability for rooms, food, & beverage and service for the overall resort. Monitors sales and profit trends and makes adjustments to take advantage of trends. Develops a company sales plan, establishes sales forecasts and develops sales objectives. Directs the administration of all sales activities to maintain and attract targeted customers consistent with the sales plans. Follows up with guests to assure they are satisfied with their event.
